The highly anticipated Silverpoint native app has finally arrived and is ready for release this summer. After a lot of thinking and planning, everyone at Silverpoint is very thrilled by where we ended up.
It is very exciting for Silverpoint to stay on the leading edge of the movement towards mobile devices. Since first providing mobile websites in 2007, Silverpoint has been delivering mobile solutions that work to maximize ease-of-access for users and minimize management overhead for administrators. Just last year, Silverpoint added SchoolSuite Mobile CMS, a sophisticated web application for quickly managing critical information from a mobile device.
The native app is a natural progression in this evolution, taking advantage of features and performance that cannot be achieved through a web app. The native app will offer features like access to a users location, cross-directory searching, saved authentication, and photo sharing. As importantly, the app will sync with your school's website so there is no need to enter data multiple times.
