Silverpoint SchoolSuite® version 6.5 includes many new features, a complete aesthetic overhaul and fast access to frequent tasks. Web 2.0 features and tools such as click-and-drag ordering, on-demand queries, and collapsible menus are used throughout the interface to give a smoother, faster, more intuitive experience and are just a fraction of the hundreds of improvements that came with the new version.
"It's an exciting time for Silverpoint," says president Angelo Otterbein. "Being able to roll out this kind of change to so many clients, and to have as few issues reported as we have had is awesome. We wanted to make sure the new framework worked well in production and are gearing up to release a slew of new functionality."
Silverpoint's User Community, as well as a powerful product tracking system, allowed the developers to prioritize the items that were of greatest importance. "We know it's important that we listen to our users, and they provided a lot of great input," said Otterbein.
