Silverpoint delivered a site in 2007 that worked well for five full years, but come 2012 it was time for an upgrade. Notre Dame Prep utilized internal talent for graphic design, while Silverpoint added new functionality including Parchment and LDAP integration. Parchment allows Notre Dame Prep staff to dynamically add pages, edit content, upload files and more with a few clicks of a mouse. The LDAP integration simplifies login management for the IT Department by utilizing passwords to work across all campus technologies, including the website.

The site design has improved tremendously and has kept many of the integral aspects of the original Notre Dame Prep site -- colors, seal, fonts, and other design elements all remain consistent to reinforce the school's brand. The homepage still utilizes a slideshow, calendar, and news items, as well as buttons to act as "calls to action" to give users ease of use and a glimpse into what life is like on campus.

PrepNet provides NDP parents a unified resource for accessing protected content, as well as a searchable student/parent directory. A committed Communications team at the school can easily update news, calendars, and other content, set up events for registration, and send out nicely-designed broadcast emails.
